Lighten Your Hair Or Go Gorgeous Blonde! - The Complete Guide To Naturally Highlight or Dye Your Hair

Go blonde or bring out your natural highlights,  whether your initial hair color  is black, brown, light brown or dirty blond!

Forget about chemicals, costly dyes, damaged hair and endless visits to the hair salon!

Also forget about wrong colors and changing your mind. Natural dyes will give you all possible hair colors, gradual results that you have all the time to reconsider, won’t ruin your hair and will cost you almost nothing.

All you need is the right hair remedy! ;)

Chamomile

This beautiful little flower can do magic to your hair and can be your powerful ally to even turn blonde!

Shampoo your hair as usual, put a towel for 10 minutes to remove as much moisture as possible and then rinse with a cup of chamomile tea.

Be sure that it goes everywhere and then leave it for 10 to 15 minutes to absorb before you continue with styling.  Do not rinse.

Use it as often as you like until your hair gets the desired color. A stronger type of chamomile if you want faster results is the German chamomile.

Vinegar

Fill a water glass with vinegar from your kitchen with which you will wet your hair at least an hour before shampooing.

White vinegar is even better and also if you leave it longer on your hair it will do a better job. Note though, that acids in vinegar may dry your hair so don’t forget to apply a moisturizing mask at least twice a week.

Lemon

Lemon juice is the most known way to lighten your hair especially when combined with sun exposure (or the hair dryer if the sun is a rare visitor to your town).

Apply lemon juice before shampooing for 1-3 hours. If you want faster results, right after applying lemon juice,  go out to the sun or use the hairdryer for 5-10 minutes.

Yes, this too has acids and it may also dry your hair but if you use it properly and apply a moisturizing mask twice a week, your hair will be fine.

Hydrogen Peroxide

This might sound chemical but believe me it is not. You can find it everywhere in nature even in breast milk and it is an absolutely safe and fine natural bleach.

It’s oxidizing properties will bring out your natural highlights or if you keep using it, you can even turn blonde.

Spray a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution directly to your hair 30 minutes before shampooing. Repeat as often as needed until you reach the desirable color.

Experiment!

Not all hair responds the same to the natural lightening methods. So try all the above solutions or a combination if you want better or even faster results.

For example, you could try lemon or vinegar before shampooing and chamomile afterwards.

Or you could apply hydrogen peroxide for 2-3 times until you get the desired color and then maintain it with chamomile.

Have fun!
