Try this easy and money-saving DIY for dry shampoo with just 2 ingredients and keep your hair and your party hairdo clean and shinny for more than one parties!
Shimmering and healthy hair does not necessarily demand shampooing every day. Oils on your skin may damage your look but are really good for your hair’s protection and nourishment.
Dry shampoo is the ultimate solution if you wish for healthy but not greasy hair and also if you want to extend the life of an amazing hairdo for a second party!
Your Own Dry Shampoo:
Take some cornstarch and mix it with cocoa powder according to the color of your hair. Put it in a small container (a salt container with holes on the lid works better) and this is it!
Some add 1 tsp baking soda to help remove odors from your hair while others add essential oils for extra scent. Your choice.
How You Apply On Hair:
- For all hair: for long or pixie cut, straight or curly hair, just apply some dry shampoo directly on the roots of your hair, let it for a few minutes to absorb the oils and brush gently.
- For Party Hairdos: If you have a complicated hairdo such as an updo, hair tinsels or braids and you want to freshen it up without destroying it, then apply some dry shampoo on the tips of your fingers and pat gently on the roots of your hair.
Let it absorb the oils for a minute or two and keep patting gently with your fingers until invisible.
