Ingredients
- 1 glass jar
- 3 cups of St.John's Wort flowers
- 3 cups of extra virgin olive oil (note that not any other olive oil will do because it won’t turn red)
Recipe
- Put the flowers in the jar and fill it with the olive oil
- Put the jar in a bright spot in your kitchen for 3-4 days
- Take the jar out in the sun for 30 more days
Soon your St.John's Wort Oil will take a bright red color and will be ready for use!
Extra tips!
If you live in place where there is no sun this time of year then don’t worry.
Just let your jar in the daylight and maybe you will need a few more days before it takes the proper bright red color.
Have in mind, that St.John's Wort Oil is not only an amazing way to hydrate your skin and refresh it, it is also a strong healing oil for sunburns, cuts, wounds and a huge list of skin problems.
You may also drink a teaspoon everyday to treat stomach aches or insomnia. Google it and you will be amazed by it’s endless list of uses!
Be careful though, St.John's Wort Oil is not recommended for children.
