If you made the decision to lose weight, a few minor changes in your everyday life can do miracles with your body until the holidays! Follow these easy weight loss tips and enjoy a new body!



Please, Do


Close the TV 
Either you open a book, a magazine or even the fridge, it is better than watching food porn.  :)

Eat only when you are hungry
Everytime you open the fridge stop and ask yourself if you are really hungry or just need something to watch a movie or make you feel better, keep your mouth busy etc. 

Sometimes food is just something we do whenever we like without really asking ourselves if we are really hungry.

Make it difficult
Lock your snacks and put the key in a place you can’t easily access such as your car. Even if you find the energy to get a snack during the day you will still eat less snacks.

Distract yourself
Every time you feel like eating something very fattening distract yourself with talking to a friend, listening to music and singing loud or dancing, drawing, playing an online game, going for a walk. 

If you do this all the time then you will only crave for food only when you are really hungry!

Get some (more) sleep
You might not know it but we feel hungry when we don’t get much sleep. Try to sleep a few more hours and you will realise that your appetite is not that big!

Write down everything you eat
A detailed food diary will be a revelation for you as to why you gain weight since you “eat nothing” and which foods/ meals/ diets better help you get rid of your weight and keep it that way.

Don't drink alcohol 
Too many calories, cellulite and so much damage to your health for such a small pleasure. Beauty and alcohol definitely don’t go hand in hand.

Don't eat too fast
Give your body the time to enjoy smell and taste! Also by eating fast your brain doesn’t have the time to warn you when your stomach is full. It takes at least 15 for the brain to know you are full. 

Apart from the quality,  that’s one major reason why fast food is fattening.

Don't smoke 
Gaining a few pounds by cutting it is not a problem. If you’ve managed to be overweight and a smoker then cigarettes probably don’t keep you away from the fridge and you should stop using them as an excuse. :P

Don't ignore your diet schedule 
You should at least eat 5 times a day in order to always keep a full stomach and stop craving fattening snacks. Ignore it and your diet is gone!

Don't forget to step on the scale 
Every day. It may be stressful but if you wish to really lose those pounds in a month or two, then you should check on your weight every single day. It will keep you on track.

Replace


Replace any chocolate with dark chocolate 
because it is better for your health, has less calories and it makes you look more sophisticated.  :P

Replace eating whatever looks tasty with planned meals 
Prepare weekly a full diet schedule and follow it to the letter. That way you will avoid fattening snacks or eating easy, fast and attractive junk food.

Replace candy with raisins
You can enjoy a beautiful sweet taste from a natural source with less calories.

Replace eating while standing up with eating while sitting in a chair
That way, you will eat slower and a lot less. Try it!

Replace eating with dancing every time you are sad or feeling bored 
Just think how your body would look if you danced your way out of all these times you were feeling sad! 

Make a dance playlist with all the songs you adore and try it the next time you need to be happy!

Replace watching TV with having sex!
