Wanna Try This Winter’s Biggest Trend? Go Goth!

Even for a night, you should really try a dark and sexy Morticia look! If it’s not for you, you will certainly love some very very cool beauty tips!

This winter’s trend is absolutely a must and we love it!
A glamorous dark look is the perfect look for a winter night out! Men absolutely love gothic style or even elements of it in women so why don’t you give it a try and see?

Gothic style can be very dramatic or... not.
Read the basics and it’s up to you whether you will just add some gothic details to your own style or turn into Morticia. :)

Skin

Use a fair foundation and a light (or even white) face powder. Goth style demands a very pale skin that of course, you can always highlight above your cheekbones for added glow! If you want to wear blusher then it must be intense and structured just like in theater makeup. 

Try a red blusher and apply a thick layer (that you will not blend with your makeup) on the center of your cheeks.

Eyes

Don’t think about it for a minute. The one and only eye makeup for goths is smoky eyes. Dark, heavy, perfectly lined with lots of mascara or even falsies, your eyes should be stunningly piercing! Do it. It never fails!

Lips

Goth style cannot have a middle ground for your lips. You either wear no lipstick at all or put on your hottest red lipstick with lots of lip gloss on! 

However, since you must put on heavy makeup on your eyes, maybe you should prefer nude lips. Unless of course you decide to go full goth with a sexy vampire look!  :)

Hair

There is a big variety of Goth hairstyles to choose from. If your hair is long straight and black, then things are very simple. You may either let them down or you can make a simple ponytail. 

If you want something more, have in mind that in general, there is no limitation in gothic hairstyles as long as they do not look natural. That means, choose any hairstyle as long as it is  shiny, impressive and… looks difficult to make. 

Take curls, for instance. You can’t have any kind of curls. You must have the most perfect shiny curls, that usually take hours to make and lots of hairspray. :P

As for the color, you can either go all the way and dye your hair black or just add a few darker highlights with a hair mascara that is not permanent and goes away with shampoo.

Outfit

Goth clothes is not that difficult to find. You can put on whatever you like as long as it is dark, long and tight. Better, prefer anything with velvet and lace while your shoes should definitely have high heels. 

If you want a more sexy look, show some skin but not any skin. For true gothic style, boost your bust and then bring it out!  ;)

As for your manicure, try a different polish idea or maybe it's time to go crazy!  ;)

And don’t forget: Black is not the only Goth color!
Try red lips, violet eye shadows, green or blue manicure or dark red cloths!
