Make Natural Sunscreen At Home To Protect Your Skin All Year Round!

A natural recipe for an easy homemade sunblock that you can use all year round! Avoid the toxic ingredients of most sunblocks and make your own natural protective cream from the harmful sun rays even in winter!

Daily sun exposure is a good thing. Actually, it is an essential thing for producing enough Vitamin D. But your face skin can make it without those rays that fill it with spots and blemishes and wrinkles.

Let the rest of your body take the sun (except in summer of course) and protect the fragile skin of your face, neck and cleavage all year round with this super easy sunblock recipe that you will apply before makeup!

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil (a natural sunscreen of at least 4 SPF)
  • 2 tablespoons zinc oxide (a natural sunscreen, not absorbed, it reflects the sun while the specific dose adds 20+ SPF)
  • 3 tablespoons of beeswax
  • ½ cup olive oil or almond oil

Optional:
  • If you wish to add scent, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil or perfume
  • If you wish to enrich the cosmetic effect of your sunscreen then add a few drops of Vitamin E oil

How You Do It:
  • Mix all ingredients except the zinc oxide in a glass jar and then place it in bain - marie

  • Heat it while stirring well until all ingredients melt and the mixture is smooth

  • Add the zinc oxide, stirr very well and take the jar out of the bain - marie

  • Pour it into the container you will keep your sunscreen (glass, porcelain or pottery are the most suitable materials) and let it cool and thicken

This recipe is also a natural moisturizer so, it can replace your day cream if you are under 40. For older ladies, apply it after your moisturizer and before makeup.

More tips

  • Store your sunscreen in a cool place or your fridge and it will last for 6 whole months!

  • This sunscreen is not waterproof so if you wish for full protection from the sun then you should apply some more each time you swim.

  • Zinc oxide can be found in powder but you should be very careful not to inhale it.

  •  If you find this procedure difficult then try an easier recipe with just two ingredients. Mix 2 tbsp Zinc Oxide with your favorite body cream and you’re done!  ;)

If the sun has already harmed your skin what about a homemade moisturizing balsam and a cream that will naturally lighten your skin?

Now, who's the fairest?
